Mi Casa is a seculed home stay surrounded by rice fields, crossed by a river with a waterfall. Flowers, orchids and trees abond. Minuts from Kawah Ijen, it is the ideal base camp to discover the blue flames and explore the region.
Marc and Erica are very welcoming hosts. They care about there guests a lot, thinking of many details. We had a feeling that we were visiting some very good old friends:).
The guest house comprises several bungalows, located in rather big and beautiful garden, full of flowers and different plants, there are several pounds with a lot of fishes. We also enjoyed the sounds of the roaring water in the river not far from our window.
The house is very stylish and clean. You will find comfortable beds there. We had a very good sleep before our trip to Ijen, which started at 1am.
Our hosts met all our requests, we appreciated their hospitality a lot. Marc drove us to a coffee plantation where prices for coffee were very reasonable and to a local market to buy some spices.
Fish in their restaurant was very delicious. Breakfast was very rich, with tasty fruits and very good coffee.
To our big surprise there are a lot of places to look around this guest house and a lot of things to do. So we are pity that we spend only one night here.
We wish to come back one day and stay here for 3-4 nights at least.
